What would be the Leeds fans thoughts on Norwich buying Snodgrass for a few million and Grant Holt coming to Leeds? I'm not suggesting that this will take place, but it is an interesting deal, which some might see as being a decent deal. I know they don't play in the same position and we would need a player to provide the ball to someone like Holt, but cash and a player of Holt's quality may be too much for Grayson and Bates. One player we could look at is Sone Aluko of Rangers, he is a quality player who is only at Rangers for the rest of this season. A left footed player who likes to run at defenders and can score goals. Swapping him for Holt would be getting rid of our main playmaker and bringing in someone who relies on a playmaker. And even with the surplus, we'd never get a player as good as Snodgrass under this regime, no matter what money we got. Keep him.

I would suggest you have a look at Aluko at Rangers, he is a quality player, faster than Snodgrass, more skillful than Snodgrass and is a player with a future.
Why would we be able to nick him off Rangers then? If he's better than Snodgrass, he'll no doubt get a new contract there or a Premiership move.

I can see him going in the summer if we don't get promoted and a good offer comes in, but as you said Snoddy's main preference is to get into the PL with Leeds. Same with all of our top players.
Calm down. All i'm saying is that after half a year Leeds don't look like getting promoted and Leeds will want to cash in in order to raise funds. Afterall, you can't deny the lad a chance to prove himself at the highest level. Chill out, ****ing hell.
We look more like getting promoted than most teams in the division and our transfer policy clearly needs no funds.
