It's at the wrong ground to be a TV tie isn't it? And it's missing a PL team.

Possibly, it's hard to guess, but I will do my best.

Ok, five games will be televised.

ITV get first and fourth choice. ESPN get second, third and fifth.

The first choice of ITV's will clearly be Liverpool Vs Manchester United. Now let's look at the rest of the draw:

    Brighton/Wrexham Vs Newcastle
    Sunderland Vs Middlesborough
    Dag and Red/Millwall Vs Southampton
    Hull City Vs Crawley Town
    MK Dons/QPR Vs Chelsea
    West Brom Vs Norwich
    Blackpool Vs Sheffield Wednesday
    Arsenal/Leeds Vs Aston Villa
    Stevenage Vs Notts County
    Watford Vs Tottenham
    Derby Vs Stoke
    Everton Vs Fulham
    Macclesfield/Bolton Vs Swansea
    Sheffield Utd Vs Birmingham/Wolves
    Nottingham Forest/Leicester Vs Swindon

The ones in bold are all 'pickable' from my view and previous selections experiences. Also, should Leeds overcome Arsenal, then their home tie with Aston Villa could be picked, and if Dagenham and Redbridge beat Millwall, again it becomes pickable. So where does that leave us?

ESPN's fifth pick always tends to be a bit of a 'wildcard' pick - with ours looking the most likely. But with the amount of games I suggest could be picked before us, I doubt we will be televised. Hope this helps.

Peterborough Vs Sunderland was a fourth choice pick by ITV and was selected as it featured a PL side away to lower league opposition. This seems to be the basis of most ITV (and previously BBC and Sky) selections.

I don't want it televised - it will be a decent match to watch and we should get all of the bairns to the KC!! Let's keep under the RADAR as much as possible; it does no hard!

I don't want our match to be televised either.

We never seem to play well when we're on telly.

I think there's a decent chance of this being televised, Crawley have done a bit of giant killing and we're playing decent football at the moment, if I was selecting the games(and I used to be an FA Cup sponsor), I'd probably look at this one.

As I had explained, there are too many more attractive games ahead of us.

if we where away i think there would be a chance of it been televised, ..i imagine theyd even put derby v stoke ahead of us, theyd see a premiership team away at a championship as a chance to build it up as a shock.

I know what you said, but other than Sunderland v Boro game, which will definitely be on, I think ours is as likely as any of the others.

I think Watford vs Spurs could have a shout as a tv game.

    Think we're a long shot.

Apart from Bolton, Blackburn or Wigan vs Fulham, that must be the most boring all-Premier League tie possible.

The FA Cup games are selected on the basis of big club v big club, big club v club that used to be big, or big club v club that could cause an upset.

I think we're in with a shout, though I hope we don't get it, it'll be hard enough to get anyone to go as it is.

I don't think the media know where to pitch Crawley yet. They're not the 'little club come good' type image because seemingly they've been too flash with it, but they're not up to the level of being a prospect, so the media's just prodding them with a stick and sniffing at the moment.

It's not though is it? The selections are on this basis:

Man U home or away against anybody
    big club vs big club
club who used to be big vs big club
little club who could cause an upset vs bigger club

In the bottom two it's important that the bigger club are away from home so they can spin the "teams like this aren't used to coming to little intimidating grounds like this where the crowd are in touching distance blah blah blah magic of the cup etc" bollocks.

If we were away at Crawley I could see it being the 4th or 5th choice, at the KC we're way down the list. We'll definitely be the televised replay if it goes to it (Man U/Liverpool replaying excepted).

I would also say we will be well down the list of those choosing the televised matches. No premier league team involved, no non league team involved and 2 teams who very few people watch outside of their immediate fan base
