We have more recent success than them then. You never know what can happen in a cup game but the scousers are not playing well at home and they've got their hands full with all sorts of self inflicted nonsense

 

True. With Suarez being out and none of Liverpool's other strikers performing we should be able to beat them. But then with our defensive and midfield injuries City should have been able to beat us today.

Well that would depend on whether the penalty that should have been a penalty (on Evans) was also given correctly. And Gerrard's red card was as stone cold a sending off as you will ever seen! But let's not drag the picture of Gerrard's studs entering Carrick's ankle out again...

 

It would be nice to have a LFC MUFC game without a sending off or a penalty, its the only fixture where I look who the ref is before the game
