I disagree, his end product has been getting better and better. He can cross very well now and his shooting is better than any of our strikers (though admittedly that isn't hard). He's spent too much time lately trying to cut inside, when he is so much better going for the byline, but I think he realised that late on in the Ipswich game and will be back on top form soon.
Everyone has their price. Unfortunately. Think what it's about is if City sell him to Leicester, NP gets one over us. If he does go then this Leicester knob will be on here giving it large for a while and imagine if he scores against us. I have no problems with either Chester or Stewart moving on to a premier league team, but going to side lower down than us just because they have a bit of money and splash it about like it's anybodys business is extremely irritating.
stewart is quick, but really struggles when up against a full back with any pace as well, if he cant just speed past them and leave them he at times looks puzzled as what to do, i rate him but agree he has his price if leicester start getting serious with there bid
Agreed DJ, I'm not saying he's not a good footballer and he's definitely improved since we signed him. I'd be disappointed to see him go, especially to them, but I just feel there are other players more important to us than Stewart. That said, if we're serious about getting promoted again, he's the type of player we have to keep hold of.
Stewart is twice the player Brady is IMHO better crosser, better finisher, quicker, more tricks, less selfish. No unless Leicester were willing to pay £4-£5m then they can **** off. I would just tell them he's not for sale, not at any price. Saves the cone headed dull twat embarrassing himself further.
Stewart is still improving. The war with Leicester needs to stop. Stewart might leave, we won't know for sure until February 29th. If he does we'll get top dollar and a replacement. All IMO, stop getting so wound up everyone.
I'm not that bothered who we sell , IF a player would rather be at another club then he can ferk off to that club ... The important thing is making sure we have a better squad at the end of the transfer window then at the start .. In the Allams I trust that that will be the case ......
Brady is far better at crossing than almost anyone in our team. It is just a shame he doenst cross it more often. As for Stewart, I have not seen a more exciting winger playing for City ever. No way should a bid of under £4-5m even be considered
Did I miss the day when the january window was ended to ferbruary too? <edit> ah. it's already been accounted for
I don't give two figs who we sell, who we sell them to or the price we get. Hull City is no longer a selling club, it's not in dire straights and although it is still loss making the increased value of our squad brings a sense of balance. We need not fear the sale of players. It can when clubs do not actually need the money be a positive. In the summer whatever happens we could have to make changes. Until then watch as other clubs see their targets go elsewhere, revel in the forced sales and laugh at the attempts to buy from us!
erm, yes. In football related news Buckingham just posted this on his twitter "Adam Pearson on Leicester's second bid for Cameron Stewart: "Leicester are wasting their time. Weâve told them to stop messing around.""
He's not said he's not for sale then. I read that as 'give us a serious bid and we'll give it serious consideration'. I have the same feeling I had when Lester first expressed an interest in Nigel and we turned it down. I was mocked mercilously for saying then that I thought he'd go....
It really doesnt, it makes him Islamaphobic. Muslims are not a race in the same way that Christians and Catholics arent.
Saying you dislike an entire group of people based on the ideals they subscribe to is racist by any definition (including in law). You can say you disagree with the ideal they subscribe to but saying you dislike an entire group of people on a singular aspect of their belief, with no regard to anything else they may happen to believe is, i'm afraid, racist.
Adam Pearson has told Leicester to stop with the silly offers, to me that suggests make a decent one and we will consider it
