As untrue as this rumour probably is, if Chelsea ACTUALLY offered THIRTY ****ING MILLION for Theo, would you take it?

I would. Chamberlain looks very ready, and 30m could get Hazard to replace him if we need to!

I actually think there's some substance behind this.

Walcott is the type of player who is still improving. If we sell him I have no doubt we will regret it.

    I hope we keep him.

Wenger will not sell Walcott - he sees him as part of the future.
In the past we've been criticised for letting go established players who are either at or nearing their peak, I can't see any sense in losing Theo especially to a rival

agree with you. I think the speed of walcott is the best in the player football.

  14. I guess it depends on how much we are offered. If the amount is decent enough for us to get someone else as good as or better then it's a good deal. I find it difficult assessing Walcott. He would be a dead cert keeper of a player if only he were more consistent. If he does go we had better get someone who works well with RvP

I wouldn't bat an eyelid if we sold him, I'm fed up of inconsistent players. I totally don't believe the hype surrounding Walcott, he is fast and ... thats about it.

Anyone see Valencia's crosses today ? Walcott should take note.

That said my opinion of Walcott changes totally when he is played up front, he is a completely different player and one I would not be keen to sell.

At £30m it would be tempting, but only if we used the money to get someone like Goetze or hazard. Walcott is quality in my opinion, and losing him would definitely weaken our team. He can be inconsistent, but he is still developing and has had more than his fair share of injuries to contend with, which have stunted his progress. That said, when he is on form he is one of the most dangerous attacking players in the league.

I think the reports that he's demanding £85k per week could be bollocks. It just strikes me as very un-Walcott like that he would publicly come out with something like this.

PISKIE ...... in this instance I am happy to wait for the truth to come out before I condemn Walcott, as you say, that would be completely out of character.

Erm hum. .... that said, he is tattooed to the hilt and he shouts at players and berates referees these days so maybe he is a bit demanding.
