    For the first time in my life, I think I actually would prefer a Man U win.

    Feels dirty.

    ......never a red card. Ref hands the game to Man U on a plate. Game over?

    2 feet off the ground people will say.

    But it wasnt a lunge, nor was it high, nor was it head on, plus he got the ball.

    The only thing he didnt do was keep his trailing leg on the floor. So what? Better then have pinned under your own body and break your own ankle. Seen that before, nasty.

    Fantastic news for the fans to see one of their legends return but a sad indictment for a club chasing a title with a useless crop midfielders that the manager feels he needs to include a footballing pensioner in their place.

    What a numpty article.

    What this shows is how much SAFs player respect him that they are willing to come out of retirement to help him out. ManU tries to buy any half decent cm right now they'll be paying 50 mio straight up. They need to do some scouting in portugal to bring someone in, and it's not going to be now. This and signings like Larsson on loan shows how smart SAF is. Scholes always has been and always will be absolute quality. His vision and tactical awareness can't be bought.

    Am I the only one who doesn't have an issue with it? Fergies down two centre mids through injury, and one of the best midfielders in Premiership history who retired through choice six months ago rather than realising he was past it (a la G Nev) is available to fill a spot on the bench. I'd take that frankly, top top player.

    If he's starting week in week out for the rest of the season and he can't cut it then its a problem, if not its a masterstroke, and with City missing their best centre half for 3 games (though I presume 2 are Carling Cup?) now is the perfect time to start making ground if they don't get a 'big' signing in until late in the window.
