Must admit I'm looking forward to the match, even though I'll be sitting somewhere in the, apparently very quiet home side, rather than with my comrades giving it big <laugh> Must remember not to cheer when we score!

However, I'm not holding out much hope that we'll cause the Chavski team any trouble - although I'd love to have to eat my words.

    Just Play Up Pompey!

But, 3rd eye, surely you have never seen them lose as of yet ?

Keep up the good work <ok>

Well Wooperts, that's at Fratton Park. I have seen them lose there, just once though, back in August - the friendly that doesn't count as it was a goal scored by us, just in the wrong net <laugh>

I think we're going to lose this one - but oh how I would love to be wrong.

Did Pompey field 2 teams this afternoon or just a few extras? Confused after reading the quote on BBC:

Chelsea assistant manager Roberto Di Matteo:

"I thought it was a very good all-round performance. Portsmouth made it very hard, especially in the first 45 minutes, and it is always difficult to break an opponent down and find a space with so many players".

Yes you would be confused by that comment <laugh>

I'm assuming that no. 31 - Webster, is from the academy and was there to make up substitute numbers.

We did really well in the first half. 3 of the goals came after Rocha and Mullins were subbed.

The away support did well for the whole 90 minutes. Loud and louder <ok>

I see John "I'm not a racist" Terry was up to his old tricks, providing young Ryan Williams with a welcome kick in the face......... JT is such a graceful player, isn't he ? :emoticon-0110-tongu

Yeah, it was a bit of a baptism of fire for young Ryan. A couple of times he came in for some rough treatment but hopefully he would have learnt a thing or two from the speed and aggression he came up against.

Nice to see JT come off second best with a goalpost though <ok>
