Why would he want to leave? He's got all of his Man Utd mates around him, he's happy and we're in the hunt for promotion. Plus another one of his Man Utd mates will be joiing shortly.
Football is a funny old game, Wayne Rooney handed in a transfer request and then signed a new contract a few days later because of more money was offered. Steven Gerrard and Carlos Tevez have done the same in the past aswell. I think we can get better value for money else where but that didnt stop us in the summer, but i think that will now change under Nigel
Why not buy Kebe? If you offer £1.5m then it's lilely to be accepted and he's worth more than that so it's better value for money!
The whole argument about the short travel to Hull is bollocks - about the same to the Scrotes. Just keep throwing your dosh around - SGE must still be pulling the strings! It might have sunk in now that we have made no move for Sharp, because we don't ****ing want him! If you don't believe OLM (LOL) then you might just believe Barmby!
Stewart doesn't give a **** about NP or Leicester. He's tweeted that he isn't interested, his head isn't being turned and like the fans he thinks the whole thing is a bit silly. He wants to get back to top form here, and he will do just that. As others have said, he absolutely loved his goal yesterday and his celebration was a big **** you to anyone thinking he would want to move.
The thing with Stewart is Leicester might have shot themselves in the foot with that pitiful first offer. When you bid for someone who's in the first team of a club in the same division, unless they're in financial difficulties you have to bid more than they're actually worth. If I were Stewart and I heard NP had bid £1M, even allowing for bidding low as a start point I'd feel insulted by the valuation. As far as Sharp goes he could hold out for a summer move even if he wants to join Leicester so that he can repay the fans for their support after his kid died.
I think Stewart might put a high value on continuing to be with his United mates who he's grown up with.
I want him to stay, unless it's ridiculous money like £5m plus add ons. But if a Prem side come in for him then fair enough, you can't blame him. But to go to a side lower in the table than us with a manager of questionable principles, it just 'aint going to be allowed to happen whatever they offer.
I would think he'd rather stay with Brady, Dudgeon, Evans, Chester and sorts than go to Pearson for 5 months and watch him get him sacked.
If Billy is that serious about being local then he will wait till summer and be free to move where he wants as I am certain, could be wrong, his contract is up! Its not like he hates donny is it! It's what I would do if I was as serious about being local as he is! Told him on his twitter too !
Sorry, but we really didn't need another Billy Sharp thread. And his contract expires on 7th July 2013.
Perfectly fine OLM. And oh proves how much I care for other clubs players and such. Shame that. I guess he's going somewhere else then. Ahwell. Can get decent pair of players for what leicester are paying for Billy. Not that I care who buys who or etc. No doubt Leicester fans will jump on my reply here when in reality I haven't asked for a war of words. Thats every other sod on here. But no doubt they will.
We are building a great family team. I hope CS wants to stay with his mates and "family". Brady to sign permanently in July and Josh King to folllow. Simpson to stay and become everything he (and we)wanted to be. Mannone signs in July too and City start again in the Prem with a young tigt knit squad in August. If only....
Pretty sure he lives in Sheffield from his United days, Hull/Leicester is pretty much the same thing in terms of location.
