His tactics are spot on. If you take away all the ****e of healers and new found wisdom, which was mainly media invented... he speaks a lot of sense. Have a listen... www.talksport.co.uk/radio/richard-k...-i-was-betting-man-id-go-man-united-win-title
#1 El Spanish waiter #2 Gianfranco Zola #3 Sparky In that order. #1 is out of reach #2 is a former scum #3 would walk away for anyone bigger Unfortunately I can't see a better optainable option than Warnock.
Of readily available managers I would definitely go for Sparky...... But if we could prize him away from the canaries then I think Paul Lambert is the next big thing in management. As for people never to go near then Erikson and Steve Bruce are definite no no's!!
FFS, Neil is leagues better than any of the above mentioned. Have any won a tuppence - not much anyway.
Not bothered about winning ANYTHING. Worriied more Oslo about staying in the Prem league... Sure Mark Hughes kept Fulham up a few seasons ago...
We need someone to save us from the drop and to build a team for the future. Sparky may do the former but not convinced about his capabilities for the latter. I know it's been said before but it's a crying shame that we missed out on MON; he would have been perfect for both our criteria, and he was available for such a long time!! I think we'll be back in the manager hunt before the summer is out. Good luck to Warnock, he deserved a better seeing off by the players fans and owners but time unfortunately ran out.
With Mick Jones and Keith Curle also leaving the club, I hope there's a pretty fast, but considered, appointment. The new manager needs to be able to get right in there and make the acquisitions. I'm not sure I want to see the tea lady and ballboy caretake the side for the trip to St James.
Doesn't this suggest that the management have someone firmly in mind. Otherwise they'd keep Jones as caretaker manager. There's no one there now other than the tea lady...
On the plus side at least it won't be Schteve Van McClaren. Hughes seems to be the one being spoken about most. Looking at his Wiki page, he's been a bit hit and miss.
Steve Gallen and Marc Bircham for Newcastle. And for the love of god, anybody else than Steve Bruce after that.
Doesnt really matter who takes over. We are down as far as im concerned. Perhaps we should get Gareth Ainsworth back.We are simply not good enough and we need to start preparing for life back in the championship and rebuilding for a promotion push next season.
Isn't Hughes coming...hasn't he been waiting in the wings for a couple of weeks, sponsored by Wright-Philips and Barton ? I'm sure already has his signings organised.
