Morning all , cup day is upon us! So why arent I feeling excited , Is it because the competition has been so badly devalued ,by the prem clubs! or is because they`re too many other insignificant competitions (league cup ,JPT) Is it because that money has become to important and league performance is far too important to risk any injuries on an inferior competition?
The Fa cup used to be one of the best in the world, before the prem came into being , then the CL replacing the European cup(another money grabbing mistake by the greedy ones)!
I hope we win today ,need the cash from a good cup run ,but given the choice of today or 3 points in the next league game, I would take the 3 points!
Does this make me as guilty as those directly wrecking and demeaning the FA cup ?Maybe It is sad to see the apathy shown towards the cup:(
The games leaders(past and present) again have a lot to answer for<grr>

What an exotic life you lead w_y. ;) Finally got on line this morning, but will not be able to listen to the player due to restrictions on the use of my thingy. :(
With luck though I will watch the match thread here. I feel sure that I ought to have a compensation claim for mental cruelty as I have missed too many games.

Good points Norway. <ok> In some ways it was better when we were not in the Championship or whatever it was called, and we had to play in the first round. If we managed to get to the 3rd round there was the real chance of getting a bigger team.

Back from the fancy dress store - I am going as Noddy and Mrs W_Y as Audrey Heburn...and she has not got Big Ears (before you get that one in BB)

I still love the FA Cup even though it seems to have been devalued a bit...that old 3 round saturday excitement still holds it for me..

I think Little Miss W_Y has managed to get a picture for me....will see later!

Restrictions on your thingy?? What has the world come to when the use of a man's thingy is restricted??

Is this a permanent restriction - or will rubbing some Vicks on it help? ;)

morning...er...afternoon all! It's been a rush around morning here too...and i've finally got a few minutes to catch up!

Noddy is one of my childhood heroes w_y...my french cousin always used to buy me French Noddy books so i could learn the language easily...Oui Oui was his name...how very drôle!

Very bad news to see that Kightly is now cup-tied.. i guess that means he's not coming back...not surprised, but still a bit gutted.

I love love love 3rd round day! I still get butterflies over the FA Cup, and yes, to a certain extent it's been devalued, but not for teams outside the Prem...i'm just hoping SD sees it the same way and plays a strong team, fingers crossed!

    Evening all

Good to see we got through and scored a few goals. Had a day walking in the New Forest instead today...very nice lunch at the Royal Oak in Fritham washed down with a pint of Ringwood.

I needed more than Vick to rub on. I think it should have turned into a magic wand, shooting flames at SFR.:emoticon-0101-sadsm
