I bumped into Billy Sharps dads old Maths teacher and he told me that not only was he planning on turning down the move to Lester, but he was going to buy himself out of his contract at Donny and offer himself to us for 3 bob and a pickled egg. I think we are haggling over the size and age of the pickled egg at this time as the Allams are playing 'hard ball'. Sorry, that should have said 'playing for a hard-boiled'.
Could be Negredo, just seen him having his tea in Medicis at Ferriby. His helicopter landed on the pitch at Church Road apparently. If this signing goes through that would blow my socks off.
Apparently he has a clause in his contract that he can go 3 bob and a pickled onion so lets not be too generous.
But what kind of pickled onion. A proper sized one, or one of those tiddly little white things you get only t Xmas?
I heard it was two pickled eggs and half a tube of Texas BBQ sauce Pringles. And we had to get him a room in William Booth House.
It might all be arbitrary because on Radio Nottingham they're saying Leicester have come in with a counter-offer - apparently they are going to pay £10million and they are also buying Sheffield and moving it down the motorway to just outside Leicester. Sharp is now expected to sign for them because he won't have to move house.
It would be hilarious if he turned Leicester down. I suspect that some prem clubs like Wigan or Fulham will come in for him now.
I think they've blown it then, because Pearson will be his next door neighbour and no amount of money will convince him to live next to that boring ba5tard. So we're back to the pickled onion deal.
Sharp did sweet FA at Sheffield Utd, he'll do sweet FA at Lesta. He is the kind of player who thrives at a small club ie Scunny and Donny. Therefore coming to City will not be a goodmove. Lets see what he does at Lesta should he go there.
You never know what will happen, remember Liverpool accepted out bid of 850K for Ayala, but we never got him.
Just for a minute there, I thought you were also talking about Duffens_Briefs avatar, I though perhaps it was Ridsdale.
I heard that Leicester were interested in buying E4 of the KC Stadium, apparantly they've identifyed it as the best area of our support as it is quite vocal yet has a decent chav/non chav ratio and so they'll be transferred to the KP Stadium over the next few weeks. Is there anything at Hull City that Pearson doesn't want?!!
