    I recall as a nineteen year old atempting to hitch-hike a ride in Carlos de la Rapita, Spain, in the wee hours of the morning, that experience actually happened to me - fortunately with a car, not a bus, but I still came off the worse for wear - felt no pain though! The name of that small Spanish port is forever etched in my mind.
