Pardew: Best technical goal I've ever seen.

I'd prefer him in the middle (if we had a decent RW that is) as he was playing brilliantly there for the first 15-20 mins, dont know what happened after that though, no support i think. Not bothered where he starts next week, just that he does.

 

I hope so. I think Obertan could be pretty good playing the number 10 role.

 

Thats my ultimate point with it all. The lad has been warming the bench for who? Ober, Sammy, even Shola played there once. Shocking.

 

I'd like Best and HBA up front with Raylor on the right again. Shola can get too frustrating when he starts and that's what would happen if HBA was on the wing.

 

i dont think it was a case of cant play on the wing but more of shouldnt. he is a very attacking player and the solidity of our team comes from our defensive work rate from midfield with tiote and the wingers tracking back. HBA isnt the sort that is known to track back i think thats the main reason he isnt suited to the wing for us. sure it has worked for him at other teams.

but until we have a stronger fullback behind him he should be more central.

also on a side note i heard about some shocking things aimed at obertan, this is getting sickening.
the guy obviously lacks confidence in his own ability and all we can do is tell him how **** he is for not using it. really not gonna help the lad.

i think his chances will become limited but i think we should give him a big cheer next time hes on the pitch

 

From the radio commentary it sounded like Ben Arfa was amazing when he got switched to the wing, but i'm reluctant to get too carried away as it was against a very poor Blackburn side who pretty much sat back for the entire second half, meaning being weak defensively down the right hand side wasn't really an issue.
Still, atleast we know he's still got it, eh!

 

No doubts some foul individual will start saying who should buy Benny once he gets a good run in the side.

 

Will it appear on ITV player, I'm living in Scotland atm having to watch on streams and I have a horrible feeling it's going to **** up just as the magic moment happens. If not I hope someone puts it on youtube.

 

Ben Arfa is a winger! not a striker or a support striker. simple as that and if anyone thinks otherwise I'll never agree with them.

 

Amazing goal, not sure how many players he took it by 5 or 6 maybe but it was probably one of the best, if not the best goal ive seen this season and the last few seasons. Gonna be a good watch for you guys tonight
