Some Liverpool fans also began chanting Luis Suarez's name as this was going on (very inappropriate and sends out a very bad message). I know all clubs have idiot fans (before someone decides to point that out to me) but this is quite disgusting from a section of Liverpool fans and while the way the club has handled the whole Suarez situation shouldn't be fully blamed for this (the idiocy of a few "fans" is mainly to blame) I don't think it has helped.

Whilst it was only a couple of idiots who shouted racist remarks the booing of a larger number of fans was stupid and the chanting of Suarez's name whilst this was going on was very inappropriate.

In what way have tried to wind up the situation? I chose not to post this on the Liverpool board because I knew someone would accuse of wumming and I have said that this was only a small minority of fans. I have worded my article very carefully so not to wind anyone up.

Fans always boo when the opposition is slowing down play and claiming against their team. The fact this could be a racist encounter is irrelevant. Luis Suarez was in the stadium and on display, thats why they were singing his name.... What you have done is looked at the situation and given a wholly subjective opinion on what has happenned....... The chanting of Suarez's name whilst this was going on was very stupid considering everything that has been going on. I don't know whether this is true but, I was told that prior to that incident the Liverpool fans had not be chanting Suarez's name. I a merely giving my opinion on this matter and have posted the video for anyone who hasn't seen what happened yet. As I said, I haven't posted this on the Liverpool board because it was not my intention to wind the Liverpool fans up.
