Prospect Wells out to 25/1 for the Supreme ................. if he goes there a fresh horse on good spring ground that could be a big price. Wasn't his true running today

<laugh> gotta love those £8.13 bets

Over 2m4f I would be on the Fly against BB, 3 miles might be stretching his stamina though

I was at Newbury when he won and he looked like he might be running up light. I suspect it was a case of one race too many. Agree that he might be one for the Supreme EW. Looking like and incredibly weak renewal at the moment. Must be unheard of for them to be betting 10/1 the field at this stage.

The favourite's form is hardly looking super strong either considering the horses he beat at Cheltenham have disappointed since (Ericht now 40/1, and Prospect Wells 25/1 for the Supreme). He looks a poor 10/1 shot for me.

I keep saying it but get the monster that is Simonsig in the Supreme Henderson. He'd hack it. The only other one I could fancy slightly is Galileo's Choice.

Hi lads, looks like some of you had a brilliant day <applause>

I was at Sandown, always prefer going to the races when the stand isn't packed to the rafters so I thoroughly enjoyed today. Ended up a little bit up (though not enough to cover the entry and beef burger!) which is always a bonus. I have to say, that Henderson horse Captain Conan was very impressive. I don't know if it was obvious on tele, but he is HUGE. Vast. Massive. Ok the others probably weren't the biggest but that's a chasing horse imho. I also think he looks like he already wants a little bit further than 2 miles. Still, Cheltenham has to be the target and the way he stayed suggests the hill will play right into his strengths. Let's not get carried away, but possibly a top notch 3 mile chaser in the making me thinks. Hold fast won ridiculously easily as did Hold on Julio. Also watch out for Firefighter, who's entitled to improve NTO after a promising run.

George, thanks for the feedback, sounds like you had a smashing day too! <ok>

Captain Conan appeared to dwarf his rivals when looking at him, he's bloody massive. His size points to a step up in trip, and without doubt that is a chaser in the making.

Evening chaps just back from the Toon match - Ben Arfa something else and Santon a real talent come on

Hold Fast 5/1 <cracker> I don't know how Nicholls thought he was handicapped to the hilt he was the obvious one at the weights today <ok>

shame Prospect Wells ran flat but a profit on the day and a NUFC win good days

That was impressive but he will have to improve his jumping at Cheltenham <ok>. Certainly has a nice profile. Nicholls trying to put away punters in the 2.05 fat prick <laugh>

How go you regard Williamson RV? And how did he perform against Man U?

hold on julio had more if needed and the front two drew well clear but also note that havingotascoobey hit a couple hard and looked out the back at one point

I think he is a very good player. So good in the air and his positional play improves when he gets a good run in the team. Shame he has had injury problems but he is certainly very good cover for Taylor and happy enough to have him and Collocini at CB. Williamson was superb against Man Utd, strong and unbeatable in the air once again
