Afsoun e/w in the lucky last for me - won really well last time and could still be on a lenient mark based on previous form (which is admittedly quite a while ago but he seems to have found the spark again)
Higgys Ragazzo at Sandown for me. Thought he ran really well at Kempton and if he can build on it he will be in the mix.
Important message for Mr Rainbow View from Sporting Life: "1537: Newcastle are behind as David Goodwillie prods the ball home to put Blackburn in front at St James' Park."
Bloody hell. I had a small stakes EW on Ciceron in the Ladbroke last time. I would have done the same but couldn't back him at the price thanks to Pricewise. Missed the boat though now. Eye catching from Havingotascoobydo. He must hold every chance in the 2m5f Novice Handicap at the Festival.
He moved up very quickly right round the outside. I think he wants 2m4f so probably looks a bit one paced at the finish.
A good day but not happy! I had a 50p e/w lucky 15 on Ciceron, Hold On Julio, Capone and Captain Conan. But I took the price so had CC at 9/2 instead of 10/1 sp!! So got paid out 147 quid instead of 267 quid!
Crikey, better than Big Bucks? I still have a massive nagging doubt about his fitness, that said he is in the right hands. I have put another £8.13 on Long Run for the Gold Cup, got to keep the account on a level number
