Something like that Notso, I think. We could bring someone in as a replacement, but with the amount of right-backs on our books you'd have thought that a loan might be the best move. Perhaps Redknapp feels that bringing in a centre-half is worth the risk, with Kaboul, Gallas and apparently Livermore capable of playing there? Corluka out, Samba in? I notice that neither of our supposed Blackburn targets played today, either.
I forget about Kaboul playing right back. Yeah that might be an idea. If Corluka wants to leave let him go permanently, Naughton will be back next season and Adam Smith's fast improving. I'd rather we kept him as cover until the end of the season though.

Whatever triggered it, he doesn't seem the same person let alone player, it doesn't look like he'll ever return to how we remember him, so probably best to let him go. We probably didn't have many other options for the bench. It says a lot that Bostock actually got on the pitch.
I think Kaboul & Rafa were on the bench in case things got a bit sticky and needed an experienced 1st teamer to fix it. Otherwise why would they be there?
