...To direct the forum back to what it should be i.e a football debating board.

Just wanted to say well played to Oldham last night, they came with little to lose and everything to gain and had a right go at us for 45 minutes. There fans made plenty of noise and contributed to a good atmosphere. 5-1 flattered us in the end

Good luck to Dickov and his team for the rest of he season, play with that passion and belief and i'm sure they'll be in the frame for promotion.

They certainly came with the right attitude of all out attacking even if it did leave them a little exposed at times.

Good on them and good luck to them in future

Was a really good game first half (if a bit frustrating from a Red point of view) but credit to any team that goes away from home and tries to win the game <ok> Well done to Oldhams players and fans for giving a really good account of themselves.

They where brilliant for the 1st 60 mins, and could and should have been 2/3 up before we scored our 1st.
Tired after 60 mins, but they couldnt handle Bellamy, but 3-1 would have been a farer result

This thread is a waste of time, what being about football and all? Such a gracious and dignified thread is wasted on here unfortunately Molby. It's been on all morning and only got 3 replies whilst there are hundreds on several different threads of the same topic.

    Great OP though. <ok>

They palyed very well and the scoreline defo flattered us, it was good to see Shelvey get his first I rate him higher than Henderson and that goal will give him confidence.

Bumping back to the top because this > racism threads.

We get it, there are racist fans.

On topic, I was both impressed by Oldham and distressed by our first half performance. It was kind of a farce, though we improved second. They came to have a go and accounted well for themselves, scoreline be damned.

Great cup-tie. Well done to Oldham, their performance belied the gulf in league positions and they really gave it a go.
They didn't deserve to lose by that margin but I was glad to see some goals finally going in for us.
