You missed the kids comment that he reported where the abuse was coming from, and the stewards did NOTHING.
You need to do a lot more.
Starting with Dogleash disassociating with racists instead of making excuses for them

 

What's the steward supposed to do? If he didn't see or hear the event how can he do anything about it? As far as I'm concerned they're following the exact same procedure now as when any other club has fans that have made racist comments/chants - ie witness statements are being collated in conjunction with the police. Most of us are pissed off with how this is making our club look and how the media are loving it. In my eyes there are always going to be a small proportion of racist lfc fans who misunderstood the reasons why we supported Suarez during the case. Even though LFC made it clear. But now said ******ed fans get to be plastered all over the news allegedly wearing Suarez shirts and now everyone thinks the club and fans are somehow racist and have been all along.

 

Yes, an Oldham player has probably been racially abused by Liverpool fans.

Yes, this doesn't look good for the club after the Suarez incident.

Yes, apparently the fans were wearing those stupid t-shirts which also doesn't look good.

But sadly racist abuse by fans is practically a monthly thing these days. IIRC there was racist abuse at our game vs West Ham last season, and against Leeds in October. Let's not make this into something it's not. I'll close the thread if it turns into (yet another) slanging match or load of abuse.

Adeyemi, 20, has given a statement to police in which he claimed he was the victim of a racist attack.

Why would a person make up they have been racially abused?

 

If this had been a United fan racially abusing a player, i would have made a thread on it so don't you dare try to claim i am trying to gain "moral high ground" over a club.

 

Most boards on not606 are discussing this "incident" yesterday so are they all "plastics" as well for discussing this matter?

Also where in my thread have i stated that United are perfect and do not have any racist fans?

 

Sympathy, attention, money. Although I doubt it was in this case. Let's face it, all the evidence it pointing towards someone calling him a Manc, not a black, and he probably misheard it if he really was in tears (which is probably beyond the acting range of even the most histrionic footballers). Load of fuss over nothing really, isn't it? He needs to grow a thicker skin as well, even if it was a mishearing, because he won't get far in the game by beefing every time he gets some abuse.

Although no doubt some peabrain journos will call for fans to be banned from stadiums because shouting at players is mean and nasty.

This whole racially abusing others derives from their ancestors. This nothing to new to those who've been in this world when racism existed.
