Rain completely changes a race, which obviously improves the spectacle. Isn't Bernie really after a way of doing that? Why not try and simulate wet conditions when its dry instead? When it rains, cars get less grip, so surely just force cars to run less downforce?

Bernie has well and truly lost the plot if this true, someone should knock his lights out, put him in his place,. That's the funny thing, he's the size of a leprechaun yet nobody will touch him cause he owns F1.

Money has gone to his head, and he should be tossed aside like Mosley was. It's a ridiculous idea, cause dome of the new tracks didn't have proper drainage, therefore a sea of standing water, as seen in Korea. If this idea goes through, and someone is killed, whether it be a fan driver or marshal, Bernie should be burned at the stake

I really hope this doesn't happen. The great thing about rain in a race is that nobody really knows when it's going to come, how long for, how heavy, etc. - It can completely mess up a team's strategy or hand them the race. It's so artificial to spray water on a track to emulate this, nothing man-made can come close to a wet track.

Adding to that, making it artificial, and potentially every race will make it predictable, and teams will adapt accordingly, therefore losing the drama of an actual wet race.

Hows this: All aero bodywork on the cars must be relatively loosely attached to the car. All teams are allowed to employ a sniper armed with a paintball gun, who is allowed to target opposition cars from a vantage point wherever they like on the track. If the sniper hits the aero, it falls off, and the driver has to continue, or pit for a new nose/wing, etc. Happy now sarge?

He and Alonso have stated that Michael can win again, if he is placed in a competitive car, the car is set to change again ahead of the next and last testing in Barcelona.
In my opinion Michael is physically and mentally ready, he has fine tuned his race technique over last season and is ready to win again.
I don't care if he turns to serious Michael again, he gets the job done and I like him that way.
He just needs to get his arse into gear and put his race face on.

I'm surprised Bernie didn't suggest spraying oil on the track to spice it up, or something even more ridiculous. Anybody remember the medal scheme he wanted to introduce?

So after trying to pursue the medals AGAIN, he's now proposing this...

Bernie in all honesty should do F1 a favour and move aside. He really isn't talking much sense these days, and in the process is destroying F1. The moving to boring tracks I could deal with, as they are producing racing and overtakes are fabulous when they happen, however now he is destroying the sport with yet more ridiculous ideas that I hope never happen.

DH canaries solution is best. less grip on the car. The problem is the cars are getting more and more standard which means the development on them will focus on making them drive more responsivly.

No double diffusers is a good idea but only an unconveniance till the teams work a way around to get the same results

How about each car can deploy an oil slick once in a race, or is that not silly enough for good old Bernie :)
