    potterpalm - thank you for your 'observations' (you are entitled to your opinion ) - but do you blame our chairman for a bit of gamesmanship ? Do we blame Stoke for giving Shotten/Delap a towelling undershirt ?
    There are plenty of players/managers/chairmen who have 'embarrassed' themselves or their clubs over the years - here are a few ( in my opinion )
    Steve Evans ( Crawley manager ) - what a lovely honest not man he is. Alex Ferguson (has a tantrum and then doesn't talk to the BBC for years. Neil Warnock ( doesn't want his team to return the ball when kicked out by the opposition for attention to injury to HIS own player .) There are currently a variety of players who have been convicted / awaiting conviction for racism - which in my mind is a lot worse than gamemanship.
    I will not bore everybody with plenty of other examples of skeleton in EACH teams cupboards.
    We know that Mr.Scally can court controversy -but be careful as you throw your stones from inside your house of glass -We, the fans at Gillingham love Tony Pulis as a manager - but do WE really know the full provable history between him and our chairman ? Was there really smoke without any fire ?
    Enjoy your day at Priestfield ( shame it wont be raining .) We would expect any premier league club to win v L2 opposition 9 times out of 10, but then I wont be wasting any money on betting that Stoke will be cup winners this year ( or any time soon )

    What the hell I'll bite.

    Not sure that you actually watched the interview on sky sports news or just saw him on it and the assumption that he was, as you say, "givin it the big un" because we are playing you. The interview was actually about the possibility of the game being postponed because Kent police have received information regarding a possibility that there maybe be trouble in the ground so there will need to be a police presence inside the ground and they want more money for this.

    As for being most highlighted period in the last 10 years it's nice to know that we are able to swell your heads so much that you seem to think you are United, City, Chelsea or someone worth while but we have had many more highlights than playing you in the FA cup. The reason the game isn't being televised is purely because Stoke are not a big enough club to warrant it.

    As for being a tosser, well you seem to be someone who has first hand experience at being a tosser so I guess you should know.

    This little distraction of a cup tie has shown me that Stoke fans are certainly not worth pissing on of they were on fire.

    Pulis really can be vengeful and we have seen this with players like Kitson, Beattie, Lawrence, Tuncay and more recently Pennant. Your chairman has done you no favours here as TP will be giving the Stoke players the team talk of his life to go out a smash you today. I'm actually hoping for a draw as I would love to see the Brit crowd give Scally a taste of his own medicine!

    Quote from interviewer " could you bury the hatchet Mr Scally with Tony Pulis " ? Scally " yes so long as it's in his head " Nice guy - no wonder his missus was shagging our Tone <laugh>

    C'mon the mighty Potters!!!!!!!!!!

    I think that given our chairman's predilection for allowing some of his assets to pass to the hands of m' learned friends, you might like to add an 'allegedly' in your last sentence....

    potterpalm, the day is done, well done on your win <applause>

    With respect to Tony Pulis, Andy Hessenthaler, both teams and both set of fans, one man's opinion is purely his own.

    <cheers>
