I don't kno about tears because I was watching an Internet stream and the photos don't show tears"

Doesn't matter that you wasn't there. doesn't matter that you watched through a grainy internet strem. Doesn't matter that you are theorising without any evidence whatsoever. When the FA sets up its next 'independent' commission of United selected placemen just tell them what you think you may have seen and what your subjective interpretation was and they'll conclude that Kenny ran onto the pitch with a burning cross and ritually lynched the kid in front of the Kop. Then the whole of the Centenary Stand rose up and rounded up all the black and Asian Oldham fans and sold them into slavery on a passing Mississippi paddleship.

James Lawton and Martin Samuel would call it 'irrefutable' truth...

180 degree turn? From what? First post- telling you to stop belittling the situation by calling him a cry baby. Last post, exactly the same. What's changed? Nothing

Don't k ow about theorising. Seems to me I haven't done any. Facts, whether you like it or not, is that a player has reported an incident of abuse. We don't know what that is and it's not important. Like i said, I'm not here to try and WUM or try and score points bout Liverpool. I just said that you shouldn't be calling the lad a cry baby. Which I maintain. Explain to me the problem with that?

I was bloody sickened by those scenes last night! <grr>

I wasn't at the match (and no before you start that doesn't make me a ****in' plastic!) but if I had been and if I'd heard or seen anything I'd be down at the bizzie station giving a statement right now! I urge those fans who were there to do the same!

What's the difference between what happened last night and the Suarez-Evra situation? On the face of it, nothing, but we now know that was a stupid exchange of words that got out way out of hand and for which Suarez is being properly punished, even if most of us do doubt his guilt, including me. Last night was a verbal attack on a young man of twenty who couldn't handle it and who didn't deserve it. If what happened happened may those bastards rot in hell AND a cell!<grr> Don't forget this comes not long after the conviction of those two dickheads who murdered that young man in 1992. A ****ing disgrace!

I am angry, and not just because how it reflects on our club.

When the manager and club refuse to condemn a racist player, obvioulsy fans will follow suit.

I don't blame the fans: KK and his clan have set a bad example

Let's just boil it down to what matters. Adeyemi thought he heard something, reported it to the Ref, the officials, police and LFC have been/are working together to get to the bottom of it as best they can.

    Everything else is an irrelavance.

If it's found Adeyemi was right, the authorities and LFC should (and I'm sure will) come down on that person like a ton of bricks.
The actions of one person however, should not reflect on LFC or the rest of their support, nor should it be something that young Adeyemi has to carry beyond this point.

Personally, I can't see what there is to discuss beyond that.

It's this sort of attitude that will get it stamped out. Fine club, fine history, a couple of attention seeking knob heads spoiling everything

Why don't you go and boil your ****ing head, you moron!

Bad example for what? Those morons in the crowd were ****ing chancers! I'd go as far as to say they were Manc or Everton supporters ****-stirring, but I won't 'cos the the article author wants a serious discussion and that'd be me being silly.

Our support for Suarez has got nothing to do with what happened last night, but it's ****-stirrers like you who want to twist it that way.

There, last night, were yer? Wolf in a reds scarf?

First post- in the middle of an argument with a SINGLE poster, and we sorted that out after.

Second post taken out of context, was actually meant to be a joke in a conciliatory post, but when you cut it like that.

Both posts were last night, moved on. You'll notice nothing has been intentionally wumming today. I've focused on one issue- the fact that some posters are trying to excuse the situation by saying Adeyemi should "man up".

The only posters with abuse today have been Liverpool fans. You can try and deflect away from this if you I'll, but it doesn't really raise opinion of you. If you'd just said exactly what wishwashinliverpool had said, unconditional condemnation, then we wouldn't be sitting here picking over my posts for a couple of words in the wrong place.

I asked a question on another thread and got no reply.

How do you Liverpool fans feel about the club backing Suarez so unreservedly - even though Suarez admitted to using a particular word ? Do you think the club are right to protect the player or do you think their stance has tainted your club in the eyes of the public ?

Personally I can see why they are protecting Suarez, but I feel it may have damaged your image.

A fair point. It wasn't meant to be like that- it was more supposed to be a hint at the glory days when we were in Europe, but yeah, it's distasteful to even mention it. I apologise. As I said though, this was an argument last night when temperatures were high and the Liverpool fan sent me a private message, were sorted.

Doesn't alter the fact that this morning, even if you saw me as wumming last nigh, the only thing I've taken issue with is the continuing abuse of Adeyemi. Yeah, he got upset, but leave it out, he has very right to and it doesn't make it any less of a problem if he hadn't. It's trying to deflect away and suggest he's somehow at fault. The other Norwich fan has been banned because he was wumming- I'm honestly trying to just make a valid point and I don't think my poor behaviour last night can be used to somehow discredit what I'm saying now

I think to get this into context we have to look at the evidence.Obviously he did think that he was called "A black bastard" But within the confines of Anfield with a football match going on "A Manc bastard" could just have easily been the jibe. That is not any worse than many of us Norwich supporters would say to an Ipswich player.

If they did say black, then it's wrong but I can't honestly say that kind of thing is confined to Liverpool supporters who I have always found a good humoured friendly bunch.

I can tell you why, this will be a non event soon enough when the media gets bored and Suarez will be with Liverpool for years.
Secondly, using a bad word, are you for fkn real? if we were all to be punished in a politically correct fake morality way for every bad word we've said ourselves then the courts would be very busy indeed.
the only crime I perceived he comitted is that he got himself taken out of the team for 8 games by engaging in any banter with Evra.

Ok apology taken nice of you to do it.

Nobody is defending the abusers and I am not really abusing adeyemi, I just genuinely think his reaction would have been different last season and it was a bit OTT to cry.

Besides that your undying defence of adeyemi smacks a bit of man love.
