    I see. As for the chants, then IF true, Liverpool have sinked even lower. Never thought that was possible after their actions regarding the Suarez and Evra issue.

    Can you please dispense with the insults - we've had enough childish rubbish from some posters on here recently and you're not helping. Besides, if you can't hold a mug of hot liquid without spilling it all over your computer, then you probably shouldn't be using one (unsupervised) <ok>

    Back to transfers, Demba Ba has a 10 million buy out clause. Far cheaper than podolski, and proven at a PL level.

    I don't know, I think the chance to play Champions League football would be an attractive option for any player. Also the prestige of playing for Arsenal could be an attractive option, especially as it's an area that he'd know we need to strengthen in - so he's likely to play a key part. That said, he's having a great time at Newcastle at the moment, so he may want to continue that with them, rather than risk it by moving to another club.
