Sign him up Bates! 5 goals tonight for the poodles. The guy just can't stop scoring.

Shame he won't be available on a free...........

    Think that's 5 hat-tricks this season, and he's only 21.

This guy is going places. Reckon he'll be off to the Prem but If he does go to a championship side, it proves we can't compete with some clubs financially.

What a boring bastard he seemed in his interview. He'll be a good Championship striker one day.

Too expensive. He'll regret taking a cap from Scotland later on in his career, being from Oldham. Traitor.

60 goals in 103 appearances for Town!!!! By my calculation (be careful, im not good at maths :emoticon-0101-sadsm) thats an average goal every 1.72 matches!!! jesus christ

yea but unlike paynter he actually shows real quality. He is also very young and quite quick as well. I would love for us to sign him and i dont think it would cost 5mil either. I reckon we could get him for around 1.5m - 2m. It'd be worth it i reckon

Our chief scout went to watch him last night, he was sat next to the Spurs chief scout, who was sat next to the Wolves chief scout, who was sat next to...etc

It's looking more and more likely that he'll skip the Championship and go straight to the Premier League.

Rhodes will probably go Prem, but then go to a Championship club on loan for rest of season to gain experience above League One

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jordan_Rhodes you have to say it was an excellent signing by Clark, I do wonder how he would do at a higher level, Leeds to sign him? Not a chance, we won't be spending a quarter of what it would cost to get him away from Huddersfield.

Great bit of business by Roy Keane to flog him for £500k, though at least they'll get 10% of the fee when he is sold.

yea but it'd be the wrong decision for a player of that age to skip the championship. Players often do this and they have one good season at most and get forgotten about. The championship is useful to build your career with and if he really is good enough he'll be in the premier league before too long

Obviously this is looking at it from a footballing perspective and not a money perspective. But in the long run it is better for a younger to go through the championship

A lot of his goals have come from great crosses and the odd keeper fumble.

Who, apart from Snoddy, whips in good crosses or has a good shot on target? A good striker thrives on good service - something sadly lacking in our team at the moment.

SSN is this morning reporting that there were scouts from eight Premier League clubs at last nights game, I think he'll definite be subject to bids from the Premier League this window, even if it's just to buy him and immediately loan him out to a Championship club.

Jordan Rhodes has also been scoring goals for fun for the Scotland U21 team, against decent oppostion. He has now made his full Scottish international debut and will be the Scotland striker for years to come.

You and your "sources", by contrast, bring a great amount of excitement. Well, derision.
