I've spent many a night telling you all about what's going to happen. I'm usually wrong but when I'm this happens I want you to remember this.

    NEWCASTLE UNITED IS BEING SOLD.

When that sentence is preceded by "I'm usually wrong" It doesn't inspire much confidence fella.

Supposedly Far East investors buying NUFC, rumoured over the past few days (supposedly where Ashleigh was instead of at the match, although I saw Pardew say he was going to have a quiet drink with him, so make of that what you will?).

    Doubt this is true.

If it is though it would be so typical for him to cash in , sell our top players and **** off.

    Probably not true.

But lets say for a second it is I don't know how I'd feel about it... I want Ashley out as much as the next guy but it has to be the right people.

With East asian investment I can see it going 1 of 2 ways either the next city or the next Blackburn!

Would Ashley sell right in the middle of his 5 year plan? Yes, for a very large sum, but I doubt he'd sell to any old tom dick or harry

I dislike MA as much as the next guy but I appreciate the positives and I don't think we're fit for change right now.

Plus, he just got his shiny new sports direct signs over the east stand, would be a shame...

Is it weird that I don't want stupid investment like the next City and prefer the way we're doing it now?

Nope, I agree. It most certainly is a devil you know case with Ashley.

As long as he doesn't cash in all our best players, I'm quite happy sticking with Ashley for now. I do have to emphasize the words 'for now' though as this is a record period of stability and something must be about to go wrong.

If I had to guess MrTiote here is getting to the point that we are going to sell all of our best players (Ba). Over a rumour over a contract clause?

    Fickle.

After what has happened with Blackburn. I'd rather not have any foreign backing. Least with Mike, we have regained some stability.

It's amazing the amount of ground Ashley has gained in winning the fans over since the KK debacles... and that's despite a disasterous PR team, shafting a well like manager, the name change, selling off local heroes and other 'key' players.

I guess a good league position and stability are all any supporters really want and will put up with a lot to get that.

Of course he could just be lulling you all into a false sense of security to extract his revenge because of the abuse you gave him.... but I'm pretty sure just wishful thinking on my part :cheesy:

I wouldnt put it past him <laugh>

No, but seriously. You're right, all football fans want, is for their club to be successful, have stability!

Mike has done a good job in the last year in fairness. Okay, some people arent happy with the Stadium name. But, who actually calls its the Sports Direct Arena anyway? With the exception of the Mackem loving cock, that is David Craig, I've not heard it be called SDA on TV at all.

Nope, Mike can stay for me. Yeah, ideally I'd like to him to pump some more money into transfers. But, we've already proven so far, we can find some real talent on a small budget. So, its nothing to get angry about I guess. At the end of the day, I'd rather the club be financially stable, than spending vast amounts on a single player.

I agree, I would much rather be 7th and have earned it rather than being 1st and buying it.
