Lets get this straight, racial abuse like alleged is rightly a criminal offence, however, is there any real need to start crying because you think some dickhead has called you a nasty name?

Ah another Sepp Blatter kn*b who thinks people who are abused should just shake hands with the abuser and not be upset.

He's a young lad ffs. If this is the attitude of all Scousers no wonder you keep getting caught up in racist scandals

Oh look: another person saying "all scousers" (not jumping on a generalization to score a point bigger than the team you support will ever earn again)

He ****ing 20yrs old you knob not twelve, as I said again, racial insults are immoral and illegal and the abuser should be punished but why all this<wah>

Read more carefully. I said "if". Currently your fellow fans aren't doing a very good job of showing themselves not to be racist, and you're not really doing much to help them by a pathetic dig at the size of a club that took a point at Anfield.

I couldn't give a **** if he was in tears or not and I don't think you should, it's just deflecting away from the disgrace of this. The feed I watched the match on it wasn't clear and all the photos seem to show him angry rather than in tears anyway

Why do Liverpool fans have to prove themselves not to be racist? don't think I have seen any racist stuff on this thread.

Police "can confirm no one has been arrested on suspicion of racially aggravated behaviour during the match at Anfield".

What's the disgrace exactly? A guy being called a Manc bastard by the crowd? Wow, that is really horrible, its not like the same sort of things, and worse things, get chanted every week at football matches up and down the country.

Yeah a tribal (normal football fan) dig at another football team equates to me wearing a large white pointy hat. Again your linking disparate events/comments etc doesn't prove racism is the last thing on your & every other rival fans view on this board for last 2 months..

Again generalizing: did you mean "all" "some" "few" or "minority" of my fellow fans???

Please:

Clearly not EVERYONE from Liverpool is racist are they, it's just a stupid thing to say?

If something racist has been said to him then I hope Liverpool and the police do everything they can to press charges, however if it's just general stuff that you get from every crowd in every game then I'm sorry but it's a bit OTT.

Shall we get something straight before these ill-informed bandwagon jumping **** stirrers start shouting their mouths off...

1. You are assuming it's racial abuse, because he's black. If he was white, you wouldn't be saying that...

2. So far the most official source we have to go on is the Merseyside police, who have denied any arrests have been made for racially aggravated offences.

3. The 2nd most reliable is perhaps the BBC sports correspondents, who have on twitter said it was not racially motivated.

If you can still find something to prey on, then good luck. Be warned, if this descends to a Suarez thread it'll be locked immediately.

YET!, I would be very suprised if during the current climate nobody was at least arrested, whether they get charged or not is a different matter.
