I hope we got some money for that ****ing disgraceful performance. By half time I was too embarrassed to keep the tele on. We were clueless. No idea whatsoever and we don't deserve to be in this division. On that showing we would be lucky to stay in the Conference. Another cup of tea is called for. I do feel sorry for all who turned up and paid to get in. I hope you were handed refunds on the way out. ZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
We are lucky we aren't in league 2. Or we'd be serious relegation candidates. Awful defence. Bull kept it in single figures IMO Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk
disgrace ,waddock has to go after that,i cant defend him anymore and the players dont deserve to get paid, one of the worst performances in my 25 years of watching the blues
I dindnt know if I should laugh or cry at how bad we weare this evening. not even any real commitment, or passion now we have one cb left due to lg and windfield lbeing injured. with tunni i can see replacements comming in. only if we had money. lets see what free transfers and loans come in.
Simply embarrassing, luckily I wasn't back in time to go to it and watched it an hour delayed on tv!! Waddock doesnt have a clue. After Bournemouth he gave it the whole, "Only two players places were safe." He then proceeded to keep 9 of the players in. No use making such bold statements if you are going to bottle it and play most of them the next game! After 20 minutes tonight the commentators are screaming at him to make changes but unsurprisingly nothing happened. First goal, Foster bad marking. 2nd goal, Tunnicliffe wrong side of Rhodes. 3rd goal, the best yet, bad free kick by Tunnicliffe, Leon sprinting into no mans land leaving Rhodes behind, Basey chased him and was shrugged off like he was a small boy!! Half time team talk - Plan A hasn't worked so lets try Plan A again and make no changes!! 4th & 5th goal and now 61 minutes so time to make some pointless changes! Unfortunately I don't think Waddock will go as he is the first manager Hayes has put on a long term contract. This performance was more embarrassing than the 6-0 2 years ago, as at least Waddock had the excuse then as he had only just taken over and it wasn't his team. This team is his team and even the usual players you can rely on, Lewis and Leon were useless. I would have to agree with Rocky that is the worst performance I can remember from a Wycombe team in my 27 years supporting them and the only saving grace was that I could watch the second half at x 12 speed on Sky Plus to get through it quicker!!
Bloody hell. I caught only part of the first half and in that time Huddersfield could have scored 10. I don't think I have seen worse defending in the last 20 years.
I am pretty upset. I watched it on the box and I have to say that really was one of the worst performances in my 20 years of watching us. I can't remember a defence as **** as that. It was a joke. I can't begin to digest it or disseminate it but on paper we really shouldn't be playing that badly with the players we've got. Huddersfield are a great team with a star in their midst but we were dire, dire, dire. I think Waddock will go within the next couple of days. I still don't necessarily think it's the right move for the club in the position it's in, as no one is going to turn it around until the evil Hayes and his entire empire is destroyed and Waddock really is a pawn in all of this. But he will go. What is the maximum amount of loan signings can we make in this window? If it's XI then we can stay up. The team are not good enough for this division. Very upsetting and I'm resigned to us going down.
evening kasule i hope your team dont ever defend like that it could and should have been double figures a total embarrassement
Jock, how is Waddock just a pawn in all this? He put that team together and it is not performing. His summer signings have all flopped big time and he has then had to resort to loan signings to plug the gap. He has no idea if his main tactic doesn't work. He didn't have the brains or balls to make any changes when we struggling tonight! Take Westley at Stevenage as a good example, against us he made two changes before half time, one of which had a big influence in their goal. He was prepared to say this isn't working lets make a change. I can't see how his empty threats after the Bournemouth game have helped. If you make those statements then make changes. If you are not going to make changes then what is the point in saying anything. Players start to just think, it doesn't matter if we don't play well, he wont change anything.
i agree finchy ,its his players ,his signings his team there are no excuses for lying down and rolling over, they were not fit to wear the shirt and somebody has to carry the can and it has to be waddock.11 fans out of the terrace would have at least put up a fight, out of ten i would give the whole team 2 and thats being generous
madness, utter madness today. waddock was all over the place.. - waddock threatened big changes, why did he go back on his word and only make 2 changes? - why no kadeem harris a ****ing gain, what has this guy got to do to get a game? - at half time, why send the team out in the same manner again. surely then is the chance to make changes but... - we had NO ONE on the bench that could effectively change the game from 3 down DEFENCE DEFENCE DEFENCE, seems to be every week we are talking about this. leon out injured now, tunnicliffe so so so so so poor and the full backs more focused on attacking should waddock go? maybe, but who do we replace him with. the final staw for me was bringing on halls for trotta, what possible use/function did that serve? man of the match : any fans who stayed till the end
I agree with everything you say, Waddock's made some appalling decisions both in signings and tactics before and during matches. He's been really bad. I'm not disputing that. What I am saying is that getting rid of him will not make things better. Getting rid of the board will make things better. A new manager now will be able to make one or two loan signings to try and keep us up, and we will still not stay up as the rest of the team is too poor. I've lost my respect for Waddock, he's not good enough - however, if we sack him, we will still go down and it will cost us a fortune, plunging us more into the real trouble.
agree with everything you say although the reason he brought on Halls for Trotta was presumably to give Trotta a rest - Waddock had well and truly (and correctly) given up by that point so was preserving the players.
I think to sum it up our beloved football team is well and truly stuffed and I have more concern about the entire state of the club than I have ever had before.
Commiserations guys - sounds very, very scary. Ironically, I was looking forward to seeing Rhodes play against us - he did nothing, absolutely nothing. If he is to go in January, and if I had to put money on it I don't think he will, I think this may have added another seven figures to the asking price. Keep the faith.
evening tewkes its hard on us blues fans tonight but it happens to us all we will get over it but it takes time after a lack of performance like that
