Gary Cahill's planned move to Chelsea has broken down after his wife failed to agree personal terms with John Terry.
You know what, I'm getting almost as tired with the ongoing "CB's Done Deals" saga as I am with the Joey Barton headbutt-gate fiasco... unfortuantely I can't see either of these going away any time soon!
Is that a hint that in your new found role as Moderator you might be able to stop CB's incendiary ITK comments?! We live in hope...
Fulham stayed up in the PL by beating a weakened Liverpool side 1-0 (Dempsey) that sent his beloved Sheffield United down to the Championship, which he has never been able to get over, calling us every name under the sun. He's manager of QPR, Fulham's local rivals. He lost to us 6-0 earlier in the season, where he made endless excuses about injuries to his side (barely any) Keeps blackening Dempsey's name in order to save Barton's. Yes Barton shouldn't have received a red card, but why bring up the Dempsey incident which happened months ago just to prove a point?
About £3-4m would be ideal, given his contract is up at the end of the season, our lack of strikers and the current climate of the striker market.
I just think at some stage he'll stop giving everyone a stick to beat him with, by being a bit more cautious in his predictions! But I can't promise because I'm not ITK...
With the greatest of respect, although local, I don't think many QPR fans see Fulham as a rival. Johnson is 30, hasn't scored regularly for a few years and has six months left on his contract. A couple of million really ought to do it.
No AJ thank god for that thats all we needed is another injury prone 30 year old 1 million was about the right price not worth any more way way past his best.
The bid was £1.5m and rejected according to Jol because - "Of course, if somebody wants him they have to pay a good transfer fee so we can buy another good player. But I told Andy what's the point of selling him for that kind of money to a rival. So I think it would not be best for us to sell him to whatever club for a lower fee. Of course he will stay here and if he is not signing he can leave at the end of the season."
QPR has done pretty well with our other cast-off, Heidar Helguson. Why not take AJ, too? Believe me AJ is miles better than Helguson.
I feel that to many managers know AJs real value, based on his injury and last 3years scoring record. so i suppose he will sit around for the next 4 months and collect his 800,000 wages. but to be sure he will be gone at the seasons end.
