Surely Carroll should have been playing... Everyone knows the man needs a run of games and a game against weaker opposition with Stevie G in the side is surely the best chance to get him a goal or 2.

I know you are winning but this seems a wasted chance to get Carroll some game time.

 

Don't like the hoofing from the back, it calmed down a bit more in the end of the half but at the beginning we were hoofing to........Bellamy

 

I agree, hopefully he will come on for the second half.

Guessing Carroll is being rested knowing that he is going to be the main man for the next 6 games whiles Suarez is banned. Wouldnt really want to risk him getting injured now and then not having a recognised striker in the team.

Subs bench looks very strong, it's a shame there aren't a one or two youngesters on the bench (Morgan/Suso/Sterling/Robinson) just to maybe give them 10 or 15 minutes at the end if we are winning comfortably.

 

Beat me to it Sky! Was just about to mention Rhodes. Amazing goalscoring record this season... 24 goals already!

 

Poor from Kuyt. Should of been three. He also badly needs a goal for his confidence.

 

Bellamy put Kuyt on a plate again and chance goes begging. Bellamy not happy about it either, he has been good again today, hope he has the legs for Tues.

I cant help bu think Carroll could actually have scored some of these chances.

 

In 20 odd years of supporting Liverpool I have never known us to be this poor and wastefull in front of goal. We usually just had trouble creating chances.
