Mood in swindon is very good at the moment. Fans r enjoying their football again.

Let's hope it lasts. Not sure how long big P will stick around, but is certainly leaving his mark.

The Snakepit was originally set up purely as a refuge from the uncontrolled bitter WUMming on 606 which was wrecking our threads and the equally uncontrolled 606 moderators who deleted perfectly acceptable posts but took no action against the worst of the WUMs. It served us well through that period up to the demise of 606, but we were talking mainly among ourselves plus one or two Honorary Snakepit WUMs like JWM (bless him). With Dave and Thai on hand to snuff out any recurrence of the problems we had latterly on 606, unless we still want a "private" forum for chat entirely amongst ourselves is there really any point in Carra keeping the Snakepit open?
