Gary Cahill's move to Chelsea has, apparently, been delayed because John Terry cannot agree personal terms with Cahill's wife.
Evening all, actually have a connection via my little green light from the comfort of my home. It has taken over two hours to update my anti-virus stuff, but when you are downloading at 2.6 kb/sec it does tend to take a while. Been out in search of booster seats for the car today as I have three small persons arriving in ten days time and I have to collect them from the airport. Found some at €8 each which seemed pretty good with the pound doing slightly better against the euro. Went to checkout and they came up at €10. "No", says I to disinterested girl. Five minutes after she makes the phone call to someone unseen, she gives me a €6 rebate and fills in a form that is clearly well used. Beautiful weather here today, even if I was driving back into the lowering sun. Nice to have the shades on in January, but people round here are begining to wonder just when winter will appear. I am not complaining and the days are getting slightly longer.
Evening M Frenchie, good to see you, despite your tentative connection...let's hope it lasts a while! The boosters sound very cheap..good buy if you ask me! (not that you did lol) I can't wait til summer...i love that we're on the way!
You could ask the millwall mod to return a favour and ask him to have a word! failing that the ignore button might be of use!
Been trying to read around a bit, if somewhat slowly, and I came across this thread. (Sorry if you have be pointed towards it already.) We are all football fans, and worry like hell when things seem to be going in the wrong direction at Watford. However it seems that these days things actually can be far worse for some supporters. If you have a little while to read something tonight can I suggest that you have a look at this. It comes straight from the heart of someone who is facing up to the final demise of his beloved team. I am not up to date with what has been going on there, but it sounds terrible. I think I only went to the town once many years ago and it was a very depressing place. To be able to go to support your team once every couple of weeks can give you relief from the slog of every day living, and have that taken away can only be hugely depressing. http://www.darlofc.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=15733

Evening all - All that talk about Vick reminded me of that old joke:- "Do you know Vic Burns?" "No" "Well don't rub it on your gonads then!"
it's a great article M Frenchie...it's doing the rounds, but wonderful to see such passion..i just hope someone sees they're worth saving...
Morning all - up early to drop Little Miss W_Y at the station as she has to be at the studio for 7.00 am. She is well excited and just loves working on SoccerAM, it's her dream job! She's a bit apprehensive of keeping Noel Gallagher happy though! One slight disappointment is that John Barnes is on next week and she has missed him... Right, back to bed before going to the butchers and then yo go to the fancy dress shop to pick a costume for a party next week-end... I'll help myself to coffee..
