Maybe he shall. He gets panned playing for Ireland because of the system we play. Irish fans have rarely seen the best of him but it is clear to me what he brings. He's certainly the most divisive player in the side. He's doing well for himself.

I always wanted him to play more central behind the strikers , one of his best games was away at ac Milan when he played behind our one striker
Scott Brown had his best game for Celtic in that position against Dynamo Moscow as well. I think it's a role more suited to European style football than the kick and run stuff we see in the SPL most weeks.

Aidie, was always one of the gentlemen and one of the most talented players to play in Scotland since he made his debut and scored against Hearts I think under Martin O'neil. Just because he decided to opt to play for his grandfather's country instead of been passed over time and time again by the Scottish managers who have always opted for a leave a Celt out,if there is anyone else evenhalf as good. That made him number one target boy for the Rangers fans, probably the illegitimate sons of the ruffians who used to boo the Scottish Maestro the one and only Jimmy Johnstone, only this time it was when Jimmy was representing Scotland.
