What a bunch of jessies...in my teenage years, footballers would play with a broken leg providing the bone didn't stick out<laugh>

If De Ridder is still injured, I reckon Puncheon might play. Is Guly out too?

We don't know anything as per usual. Although I would guess that none of them will be involved personally

I guess Barney not being in the squad at the moment is doing "other duties" such as monitoring the newcomers, a bit like when Lee Holmes was unfit he was fully employed in PR, and was good at it too.

Tues 17th or Weds 18th. And with Leicester having been moved from Sat 21st to Mon 23rd, they'll be plenty of time for any of the first-teamers involved in the replay to recover for the Leicester game.

I'm keeping my fingers firmly crossed for the draw. I wouldn't give us much of a chance aganst Leicester without Rickie.

We should be aiming to win this game as 3 defeats on the trot would be a night mare , fonte, lambert, deridder, guly, chaplow are all injured or suspended therefore i would go with:

    Davis

    Butterfield Martin Hooiveld Fox

    Puncheon cork hammond morgan Lallana

    Connolly

Subs Bart, Harding, Reeves, Holmes, JWP, Hoskins, Forte

Then we would have an extra game, not something we want.

problem with this side is Connolly; he is too small to play as a lone striker

On the basis that I don't think Puncheon will be included (until his future is decided one way or another, I think he'll be kept away from the first-team), I will go for:

    Bart
    Butterfield Martin Hooiveld Harding
    Holmes Morgan JWP Reeves
    Connolly Forte

Presumably this will have come too soon for Jaidi, otherwise I'd have him for Hooiveld.

Apparently he will sit down with Cortese and Adkins to discuss his future after the Coventry game.

Tomorrow I will scout the players and our fans while at the game.

Having to sit in the Coventry end with a mate of mine, will have to look undercover ;)

I can only assume you are talking about Jimmy Case ,Terry Hurlock or Mark Dennis maybe oh yes those were the days. There was not much injury time in those days if you were injured you either limped or crawled off and the game carried on whilst you were still on the deck if you saw a stretcher it was indeed generally for some one whos bone probably was sticking out of their leg
My prediction for today is a 2 1 win and i hope Punch plays after all if we are paying him good money get him out there and let him earn it and rightly or wrong he should have some points to prove

We do not have too many Nobby stiles type players these days.....Most do not know how to tackle hard with out fouling
