    which game is more important?

    ask that question first.

then the answer means bellamy should either start or not with a view to the next game.

In my view revenge and a final means city is a must win too and so bellamy would be o nthe bench for me here.

I'd play adam as it seems kenny is subbing him for gerrard anyway.

coates was not o nthe bench v city so is he fit?

    doni to start.
    kelly to start
    carra to start
    shelvey to start
    maxi to start

make a team out of that then...

Why oh why is this not on tv? back at week this work and i have been thinking all week that friday i could chill out and watch Andy Carroll score ots of goals against the kind of players he made his name against....

Not even being shown on LFC.TV???????

Would like to see Coates play tonight, And would also like to see both Morgan and Sterling on the bench.....

Start with a strong line up, try and get a lead and then bring on the young boys to get some game time....

Coates will defo play as will Carra,Kelly,Shelvey,Carroll,Maxi

Can see Stevie playin 1st 60 mins, possibly Aurelio at LB, hope Bellamy aint involved, save him for Citeh, plus hes on 4 bookings

Would love to see Sterling start with Morgan on the bench cant see it though

Think Oldhams problem will be gettin the ball ,and gettin in our final third, we are vulnerable if we concede chances, but we are very good at stoppin the opposition from creating any

no to suso... he's not mature enough nor working hard enough i nthe ressies consistently.

coady is forgotten everywhere but is clealry closer in kenny's mind... we all want to see sterling and he's just got a new contract so it's not impossible now... ideal for him really

no i think it'll be a mix up team but with maxi and aurelio, kelly and coates and doni in... that is enough.

Judging by the teams Kenny put out against lower league opposition in the carling cup, it will be a mix of players. I still think Reina will start and Carroll has to keep playing to get better.

    ---------------Reina
    Kelly-----Carra-----Coates-----Aurelio
    Kuyt-----Spearing-----Shelvey-----Maxi
    ---------------Gerrard
    ------------------Carroll

Bench: Doni, Flanagan, Robinson, Adam, Henderson, Sterling, Bellamy

    Isn't Bellamy on 4 bookings?

If so, can't see him being involved tonight as another booking would mean he misses the CC semi at City!

Can all of the Suarez threads please get closed and we can focus on thsi thread or others for our game today, instead of going back and forth with people winding us up or with an opinion that will not change.

jaffa's will be closest, although Doni is a solid GK why does Kenny never use him in these cup games?

I think i saw somewhere (don't ask where) that Doni has an injury so can't play tonight. Which is a shame i think as he needs some game time if he's going to push Reina for the first team. I would play, in a 4-2-3-1 formation; Reina, Flanagan, Kelly, Carra, Robinson, Gerrard, Spearing, Bellamy, Shelvey, Aurelio, Carroll. I think Aurelio can be really useful on the left wing, he's got a great cross on him, as has Bellamy on the right. Gerrard and Spearing give stability in midfield, with Shelvey linking up up with beliers and Aurelio behind Carroll. I think Flanagan needs game time, and Kelly can play just as well at CB. Carra gives some maturity to the back line and Robinson is a good prospect, also needs game time. As for the Bench i would like to see Suso and Andre Wisdom given a chance. Come on you Reds! Also (random), but i have a friend who's brother is Josh Parker, the winger at Oldham, really good youngster, hope he has a good game. (Not too good though :L)
