Senegal are third favourites to win it. So it looks like we could be without Demba for a long time. On top of that, Senegal's group is ****!

With several good strikers he may not play 90 minutes every match which will be good for us.

If Senegal finish 2nd in thier group they will most likely play Ivory Coast in the quarters.

Looking at Wiki, he's only played 10 times for Senegal since 2007.

Is he a starter for them? Hope not.

Things may changed since he scored 15 goals in half a season in the best league in the world <laugh>

However they have two other very good strikers, so it is hard to see who the coach will start with!

This means Ba and Tiote will definitely miss :

    Blackburn (H)

    QPR (H)

    Fulham (A)

    Blackburn (A)

    Villa (H)

    Huge games.

They'll miss Spurs away if they make it to the semis.

Konan is class but not a winger. Kalou on the wing!

Not the worst run of fixtures to miss tbh. QPR, Blackburn, and Villa are still winnable. Think we'd lose to Spurs with or without them. Possibly Fulham is the game we may lose without them whereby we might have got something if they were playing. Guthrie should be back soon to replace Tiote.

If we can get good replacements then there's no reason why we can't go on another unbeaten run that will probably end at WHL.

Its a collection of international powerhouses compared to the Ivory Coast's, who it appears will be playing a tumour at some point.

He's not a winger, he's a ****ing barbarian. also, the only place you need Solomon 'hasntgotta' Kalou, is on the bench.

Don't know where you got that from, Senegal have been a force in African football for quite a while.

The answer is no because he is african and africans have more faith than your average arsehole these days. These guys are not going to fly back from the ACON no matter whats on offer. Respect is still in the peasant nations. These people know the value of god.

I think the problem for senegal is the state of their management. Think they were having contract issues earlier in the month. We all know what happened to France in the world cup after their management issues.

Tbh i wish Ba and Tiote the best of luck but NO INJURIES PLEASE<wizard>
