    Didn't see a thread on this and I think this is a great story. Good news all round, long live Pardew and thanks for saying stuff like: "My future is very much here" and "I haven't considered any other issue outside this football club and I won't." The last three words being the important ones <ok>.

    Yeah, think Sky dropped the ball on that one, what Pardew's actually saying is it's more to do with our different options available game-to-game, i.e. Shola playing vs Man U.

    This. We don't necessarily have a large squad, but we have the available players to play different types of style when we need to. We can play direct (as we did against Man Utd) or we can play HBA and play the passing game.
