Aye but he wasn't until the link went onto the forum was he? Seriously they were both fantastic free-kicks but I just think you see the sort of kick Cabaye took almost every weekend at some level - you very rarely see the gardner type strike which is why I think it's a better goal

Couldn't choose between Gardner and Cabaye's. Went for Gardner because it's less usual to see one struck with the laces rather than the inside of the boot.

Could not agree more. When we actually get a free kick now i believe we may actually score a goal, at least work the goal keeper as a minimum
Gardeners, Larssons or any other Sunderland players was not as good, or will never be as good as any craa players free kick whatever it actually is. STOP PRESS!!! Ba's goal was better than Cabaye's and Gardner's was better than Ba's. Berbatov should have deflected Cabaye's. Ba's and Gardner's were unstoppable. Based on the actual goals not on bias.
With him Vaughan and Larsson it really does make your mouth water what they can do. And to think we always had a problem with goals from the midfield, how things change as we now don't have that problem yet our strikers seem to be misfiring. Now if MON can get them firing then woah!!!
