Newcastle stepped up last night against the 'mighty' united and they're snapping at our heels! Time WE stepped up against the 'mighty' and the 'lowly'! End of.
Wishi. We're 3 points behind Chelsea. It's not done with yet. Don't get too down - you sound like MITO
Needs saying, Red. One thing I don't agree with MITO on and that's Ngog. Don't think we should've sold him. Still useful in a crisis. We haven't got anyone to stick it in the goal. That's one advantage he has over Carroll.
ngog provided good backup and he always looked like he was trying to get in the box and score, better than the 35m donkey by a longshot
you lot are only trying to wind me up. I can gloat quite rightly that bolton got a freak goal form n'dog and will go down from buying him. best decision ever made by the club that.... hock the muck. the floppy one got a few tap ins against league one opposition or in the last minute and you're so desperate... torres out carroll in = mistake n'dog out, bellamy in = good good business. simple. BTW chelsea are awful at the mo... we are better than we were but still nowhere near where we need to get to
Bellamy yeah, but he doesn't always play or if he does he comes on too late, MITO. In those situations N'gog was useful. You know he was. That time when Torres was injured. Who scored all the goals? Starting to agree re: Carroll. OK he hasn't always started or played but when he does he's gash. Torres - he wanted to go. He's rubbish, anyway
bellamy has well publicised knee issues so if he comes on with 20mins to go its as good as n'dog wandering on with 5 to go and getting one or two late goals... bellamy is a btter open than n'dog ever was. N'dog was never useful he was a flopper who could never stand up and play the ball... take out his goals v the league one opposition in europa and all you are left with is a couple of tap ins in 3 and 4-1 wins at home last year and one good goal v arsenal... so one gal form him total verses bellamy taking corners, frees and being the only guy looking like scoring? Carroll has been mis used, signed when un fit, never gotten involved and is young and hasn't got the required work ethic to match and beat the pressure... if we sent him home i'd bet you he'd give ba a run for his moeny in terms of goals simply as newcastle would play to his strengths... the "donk" is an average player but miles and miles better than n'dog ever will be.. when bolton go down he'll be the first to desert.
Sean Dundee? Bernard Diomede, Poulsen, Koncheskey, Jean Michel Ferri, Paul Stewart? You have a short memoery, or you're just too young to remember the real dirt we're had here...
How can you lot rate Carroll until he gets the kind of service he needs to score regularly, not to mention gametime? However, I do get the frustration and the urgency
i think the point must be made that carroll at 35 million is indeed a horrendious gamble. But to call him names and never give him a chance is wrong (unless it's n'dog) I am entitled to slag of n'dog cos i watched him in reserve duty and such and always maintained he had no assets whatsoever to his game. Carroll on the other hand has a big fee like a milstone round his neck and like lujcas is getting nasty digs for little reason.... unlike lucas i don't think he has the strength of mind to stand up to the abuse
I think this is why Kenny is wrapping him in cotton wool, to try and protect him from the over-the-top criticism that he's been getting...
What you fail to see is that you could have brought all the players you mentioned and still had change from the fee we payed for carroll ! like i said...worst signing EVER !
