All we have to do is get fkn Downing\Johnson to get the ball to him, someone said to me at work Downing has set up more chances than anyone else so far this season, I thought he'd had a reefer..
Not the worst move - we needed a striker and now we've got one (if we're to believe the rumours), who can score tbh. I just hope we've not paid more than 20 million for him.
You can understand the logic, I suppose. We want top 4 and can't afford to be nursing a young overseas player into the squad at this stage. Those sort of deals will wait until the summer I expect.
If the price is reasonable he's extra firepower, its a plus unders the circumstances, an extra option

He's not a fake mate. He work's for the Mirror. I've seen his colleagues and other journo's retweeting what he has wrote.
Well I doubt we could do better tbh. And lets face it he scores goals which is more than our other forwards do. I just hope we don't spend megga bucks on him. I will actually cry if we have another Carroll or Downing.
Last I checked, the Mirror reporters were banned from Anfield because their headline on the Suarez/Evra incident simply read, "RACIST"... Pretty sure this guy isn't reliable for reporting the 'behind closed doors' transfers from within the club if he so blatently ****s up.
You know your club much better than I do mate, im just writing what I have seen. I've seen plenty of rubbish on Twitter before about transfers so I generally take these things with a pinch of salt. But he is saying the deal's done, if nothing comes of it, he's gonna look like a right tit because everyone seems to be jumping on the bandwagon now.
I'm a big fan of Bent. I think he is Englands best goal scorer and would get in the England team ahead of Rooney for me. But I feel if Liverpool is the club for him to settle at, he should have signed for us years ago. I know Rafa was interested but he always chose someone else (Morientes, Bellamy, Torres).
Bent only does well for small clubs, yes he scores goals but he does nothing else and surely a club of Liverpool's status demand more than that from a player.
