The very same Mr Frank Nouble his loan spell ended before christmas and he scored for west ham at derby ..i`d imagine he was on the bench but.....AMAZING. though he did do ok for the Gills
I remember seeing that, and refreshing over and over as i was sure it was meant to say "mark" and not "frank"...i'm still not convinced it was him lol
Anyone see this goal on the net? Please reassure me it was a ricochet or vicious deflection... can't believe he scored intentionally?
Neither really set the world alight to be honest, I'd rather sign two players permanently than extend their loans, and I'm not too sure that I'd want Russel as a permanent signing (though wouldn't mind Ephraim).
I thought Hulse went out on loan, but just looking at his season stats I realised it must have been in football manager I would like Hogan back.. think he is a fantastic League One under study for JJ.
Remember trying to sign this bloke when we were in the Prem? Had a couple of cracks at prising him away but to no avail. Ah - nostalgia...
Well, Russell's now back until the end of the season, as his heavily featuring in the programme on Monday seemed to suggest. I suppose I'd rather have him here than not - and you certainly get the strong impression from the interview that he genuinely wants to play here - but after Bradley Pritchard's very impressive performance against Brentford, I'll be pretty hacked off if he's included straight away in preference to Pritchard, except for purely tactical purposes.
Yep. I'm underwhelmed by this news. Don't suspect he's been signed to sit on the bench. I can see the argument from a numbers perspective in terms of bulking out the squad but it's bad news for Hughes and Pritchard. I suspect this means that alonso is a dud and Stephens may be out long term.
The match against Holdem I thought he was having a poor game and then he popped up with the goal "ey up" I thought perhaps this will spur him on? IT DIDN'T! Poor player in my eyes.
What's your main worry about Russell, AllHell? Mine would be that he doesn't create enough, or anything really, he's just a stopper. Hughes can do that job, but he's a bit more creative. As well as my worry about Pritchard's development being halted, there's also Evina who may be a bit on the lightweight side, but hasn't done anything to be overlooked and must be getting right hacked off at exchanging first-team football at Oldham for the occasional pick-up game. And if Ephraim comes back as well, I really do think we'll have a problem.
Russell is a middle of the road player. I don't have any real thoughts about him.. Much like Michael Stewart. Would have been a good signing last season, but now I hope it's purely as a back up. Hugo, I would like back.
Russell is a nothing player, can't say I have anything specific against him because I do not think he contributes in a game. I could remember about 5 or 6 good things that Pritchard contributed on monday (plus one bad thing) but other than his goal Russell is anonymous in every game I have seen. Why not have Jackson in the middle with Hollands and Evina on the left? We don't need Russell he brings nothing to the team. Ephraim is just a copy of Waggy, why do we need two Waggies?
Who's Hugo? I had a Hugo Boss suit once, I ed when it only lasted 2 months at work............... must of been £25 per wear!
