He was out of contract at the end of the season and Man United insisted on him signing a new deal so he could be sold for a fee, rather than just getting academy compensation.
brilliant news, if he continues to unimpress we can pass it up but it gives us the option should he improve himself. Bit like when Belaid was here and Koren's contract extension, the way we handle our dealings and contracts is so refreshing compared to the previous regime. Any idea on the fee agreed? I'd hazard a guess at between 500k-750k
I'm not sure there's a fee agreed, I just think we've been told he's available if we want him. Our winger bid has not yet been accepted.
all young players take a dip in form so its not an issue. stewart is now going through the same situation but both shall soon be back to there best. imo.
Hopefully Brady will get a start on Saturday & show us all what he can do. Maybe he'll be in a better frame of mind with his future more settled
OLM was talking about a fee for Brady. What happened to Pusic? I know he was injured, how bad is it? He's the versatile, steady performing type you need for a promotion push
No, it's very much still alive, we just haven't agreed the fee yet. I was talking about Brady rather than King, I think king is very highly regarded at Man United. Pusic is on the out list, he's available on a free to anyone who wants him.
Not that i expect too much from you, but are you saying that our offer has been rejected? I know it seems obvious since you said it hasn't been accepted but deals these days have so much more to them than set amounts like installments, add ons, clauses etc. Do we have any indication that the player is interested in coming? Or am i reading too much into it...
As far as I know, it has neither been accepted, nor declined, we're still waiting for a response(maybe the selling club has to sort a replacement first)
Hopefully a stay until the end of the season might gve him an incentive to return to his form of the first 10 games.
