Looks like Jakob Friis Hansen (Director of European recruitment) has left the club... He said: -I am not in Southampton. I helped them well underway, but we were not quite agree working methods, so we went separate ways, says Friis-Hansen. http://www.bold.dk/nyt/Friis-Hansen-stoppet-i-Southampton Thoughts?
Basically he wanted far too much money for what he was doing. By all accounts he had very little contact with the club which isn't in keeping with the mantra of the talent identification team. A replacement has alreadybeen identified, however it's not wise for me to go banding names around as there is the possibility that it may not progress, however it would be somewhat of a 'coup'.
'Bill Green has returned to #saintsfc as senior recruitment officer. He had left Southampton for Leicester City in January last year.'
Next up, Scott McLachan and Malcolm Elias. They'll bring us some Judging Current/Potential Ability clout
I cant see a long queue of young foreign talent outside of SMS waiting to join the squad, can you? What has this fella achieved to date? I thought so, taxi for Jakob! SHut the door on your way out
He was talking about an interview Friis-Hansen had with a Danish paper. The club didn't announce it publicly as you said.
