If what Bonstar says is true then we truly have fallen from grace. We have 3 recognised strikers and one psuedo striker. 2 recognised strikers are going to the ACON, one of which is badly out of form, the other is still trying to find his feet when it comes to actually scoring goals. The pseudo striker is badly out of form. If we bought Podolski we would have to see how quickly/easily he fit in. But what if RVP got injured ? We'd be left with a terribly out of form pseudo striker (Arshavin) and a new boy trying to find his feet. Surely it makes sense to get both Henry and Podolski, Henry's style of play means we would be taking less of a gamble during a period of massive importance, it might take Podolski weeks to get to grips with the pace of English football. I don't see why it should've been one or the other. Chamakh is gone in the summer, I can't see us keeping him and Podolski wouldn't expect to get thrown straight in.
The thing is Robin, someone else feels that they also have to have the last comment - and so it goes on. Otherwise it would have finished ages ago. Anyway, I think it's been done to death now and it's getting tiresome for others. We may not all agree, but I'm happy to agree to disagree. Let's move on
can't you even explain to what you are referring old chap? Common sense regarding what exactly? Or are you just **** stirring?
So this is what this board has become PISKIE and co. vs. Jayram and co. Well the only resolution to that issue is COYG
This board isn't a versus contest, although I agree that what was a fairly straightforward story about the delay in Henry's paperwork went on for far too long. I think we all want the same thing - success for Arsenal, let's hope that we can be more civil about our differences in future. I have no desire to continue endless spats with anyone on here. COYG
Deal should be finalised in the next 24 hours according to the Metro http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/footba...turn-date-to-new-york-red-bulls#ixzz1iVdNGKUf
