If he was any good why isn't he playing regular first team football at Leicester?

    Just a thought!

Has got be better than Delaney. I don't actually think he is that bad, would certainly be in the starting line-up in 90% of the championship teams. I rate him more of a proper defender, none of the fancy ****, just defend, defend, defend.

Agree Guru, JWM you have to realise that Leicesters spending power means they have a large and impressive squad and I would imagine half of their subs bench would be starters for other clubs in the league.
It may also be nice to sign somebody elses reserve rather than paying top dollar for a 'star' who fails to perform

JWM I can understand your frustration at alot of things that come out of the club atm but I'm even startin to think that if we managed to sign Messi for £1 million you would complain!!
I hope this rumour is right. Yes he's not in the Leicester team at present but he's made 10 appearences this season and he's got alot of competition ahead of him that's cost Leicester alot of money and he's proven at this level.

Guru, true although everyone goes on about Delaney being a no nonsense player, sometimes thats to his downfall because he just gets a rush of blood to the head and goes for the ball without thinking. I think he would be a good signing though!

ptc I would expect change out of the £1 Million <laugh>

If you read further down it goes on to say that it would be more than likely a loan deal with the view to a permanent. Can't we go out and actually buy a few players anymore!

but JWM, it also says he is transfer listed, no fee has been discussed and talks are ongoing. Also if it is a loan with a view to a future transfer I think that might be good when you consider the amount of crap we have actually signed in the last 3 years (known as our first team, and half our reserves come to think of it) if he does fail we can say bye-bye.
Look on the bright side mate, if he is successful we may name a turnstyle in his honour!
