I had similar at the weekend and it was a bit much, had to merge about 9 threads, think it was the same guy. BBC 606 should have sorted out their issues years ago so its bit rich coming on here when their system is to blame more than anything, obviously this guy is missing the point in a big way.
I thought I'd 'soft' delete them all to clean the place up and then look at them later to see if any are worth re-instating. As you can guess, they were all spam.
Thanks to whichever mod deleted part of my post, hopefully that'll stop him getting any ideas. Its not exactly rocket science, but I don't plan on helping him ruin our debates if possible!
I'm sorry to say this guys and I know you don't agree but as long as a certain members name is so prominent on here this type of thing will not stop on this board. He was so active in his pursuit of ruining 606. I don't think all of these people are the same, it's a few angry 606ers. Unless the certain poster does the altruistic thing and leaves (which as we know generosity isn't in his nature) you're just going to get used to it and be on top of it. While he is here I wouldn't bother advertising this site on 606 as you'll increase this problem.
