Just a warning for those who aren't aware, that the M1/M6 junction will be clsoed all weekend for anyone travelling using that junction.

Wouldn't most fans take the A34, M40 and up through Leamington?

Thought it was the most direct route to the midlands clubs?think i use a bit of the A43 through Northampton as well but maybe i'm getting mixed up from when i drove to Donny and Barnsley?

    Yes <laugh>

My route to the north is always on the A34, M40 and M42. I try to avoid the M1 for as long as possible.

I didn't think the M1 had a junction with the M6. Unless I'm mistaken they serve diff parts of the country and don't meet?

The M1 joins the M6 at Rugby, just east of Coventry. If you're going from London, that's the way to go. (or rather not)

Warning for anyone driving West on the M50 to Coventry, you are heading in the wrong direction and it doesn't go to Coventry anyhow.
