Yeah, I think he just meant that was the best possible performance the team could have put forward tonight

He said he'd rather sit on the bench at a big club than play regularly, I find that ridiculous though. He wouldn't even make our bench.

At least he was gracious, so fair play to him, still hate him though.

Very gracious bunch of Man U supporters <ok>

Found myself grinning at the compliments to be honest. When you hear Man U fans saying that it was arguably the best performance against them since Barcelona 3 years ago, or that they get beaten but they rarely get beaten like that it brings home how good we can be on our day.

I think we lose perspective sometimes and praise from an opposing/rival fan just seems to make an assessment of where we are as a club that much truer!

(When they criticise us though they are obviously talking bollocks and their comments should be disregarded :bandit: )

See a lot more people still complaining about HBA. The simple fact of the matter is, Ba plays his position better (behind a bigger target man). He'll get games now as Pardew likes playing a number 10 and Ba is obviously unavailable.

Agree with this. We haven't really played a 442 at any point this season. Ba is always back in the midfield winning the ball and driving forward. Ben Arfa is class but he doesn't fit into the team at the moment.

Yes, people say Pardew is sticking stubbornly to 4-4-2 but in reality we hardly ever play it. Ba is always deeper and in the games he has played with Ben Arfa he hasnt looked as dangerous (missing the sitters against City, barely involved v Man U/Chelsea).

Aye, which is why we need a striker to play up top. I love Shola as much as anyone but he cannot be a first choice player if we want to be challenging towards the top end of the table.

Just heard that Asda in Liverpool was held up by a lanky ponytailed gypsy asking for their entire stock of Syrup
