Any sore heads this morning? There should be

What a game, what a result. Every player in a black and white shirt did their part, and Cabayes goal! We needed a result like that, really lifted the confidence around SJP and we will go into the game against Blackburn looking for more of the same.

As we stand right now :

    5 Arsenal 20 8 36
    6 Liverpool 20 6 34
    7 Newcastle 20 4 33
    8 Stoke 20 -9 29
    9 Norwich 20 -5 25

Rightly back within a point of the bindippers and 3 behind Arsenal. Next in the league we have QPR, a game which we should win. Fulham away on the 21st will be an important game, and theres no reason we cant win that either. Promising games coming up, anyone else agree that this is a perfect opportunity to pick up form again?

Thanks for the 4 points Manure.

Haven't been to bed yet after a lock in...Amazing game and I can't stop smiling.

Pardew got his tactics absolutely ****ing perfect tonight but has wavered a bit in the last few games so QPR and Fulham depend of how he will set us up - I'd expect points but with us, you just never know!

I too would love to see us hit another consistent run of form, but I definitely think that will come down to how he sets up in Ba's absence.

I agree this is a good oppurtunity to pick up points, QPR at home, followed by Blackburn away.
Blackburn have Fulham at home their next game, if that goes badly we will have a huge advantage when we go to Ewood Park.
There is a good chance Blackburn supporters will focus their attention on their manager rather than support their team,
our support will be great as usual.

Got up at 6am with a bad head, got into a board meeting at 8am and sat there smiling like a loon because 3 of them are Man Utd fans :)

Just noticed we're 13 goals ahead of Stoke on goal difference. How did that happen? <yikes>

Delighted to be only one point behind Liverpool though, if we can take at least 4 points off QPR and Fulham then that'd be fantastic <diva>

You would think we would get some points off these, but my worry is that we raised our game for Man Utd and will not get out of second gear against the lesser sides

I'm off back to Durham later on today. Can't wait like, can't beat being at home lol.

My Man Utd mates are **** fans anyway, they don't even know who they are playing next most of the time lol.

Pardew is usually a good motivator, he'll want to get one over QPR cause we dropped points against them earlier in the season. Plus, these next few games (including Blackburn) are the best opportunity for certain recently dropped players (Benny, Obertan, Best) to force their way into the side. <ok>
