Alright, Geordie in peace...Just in from a lock in and I'm on cloud 9! I logged onto here and have seen nothing but magnanimous comments from yours fans and wanted to say fair play! I live in Belfast where, as you can imagine, there's a **** load of United fans, used to live with 4 of you and put up with all the ****e we deserved for being relegated and spanked by you in recent years. Its nice to see that even after a shocking performance from your players (I'm not sure I've ever United play worse?) you can still find a bit of humility and congratulate us - top lads! I genuinely think we played well - we knew your threat came from the wing and our CBs split wide down the centre in order to counter this every time- Tiote and Cabaye controlled midfield but Colo and Williamson were epic tonight! It could've been a very different game if Rooney had controlled that early ball through the middle but what ifs and maybes are what football is all about. Anyway, once again, cheers for your comments and best of the luck for the rest of the season!
Before we played United earlier this season I didn't expect much humility from their fans on here but credit where credit is due they were simply excellent. None of the big heads that are frequently associated with supporters/long distance followers of the team. Look forward to the game & match day thread with them at Carrow Road later this year
