Well i don't know... in the end reina threw one in but i felt we were well in the game until johnson let his man run him... what we are doing letting a guy like johnson who everyone knows is very weak in the box mark anyone but a static post is beyond me. I honeslty think city had their very best 11 out there and they didn't play anywhere near as good as they can do, i also think we've lost our own form over this suarez stuf and we are not really focused or playing as a team like we should. adam needs to sit back and stop making 30 yard runs on his own cos he's not a winger, he needs to pass the ball about and make the moves happen.... downing needs to stay out wide and actually take on a full back for once or be dropped and we need to cut out the errors... It could have been a 0-0
I've actually been quite impressed with Adam's forward runs. I thought he was a "Alonso" type player who would sit and just spray passes around but he has made a few good dribbles with the ball and won free kicks or got shots away at the end of it. A couple spring to mind against United for Gerrards free kick, and one against Chelsea as well.
Reina was unhappy with the goal but it dipped a lot before it reached him, it was an unexpected shot too, Reina didn't make a howler, it was one of those things even if he felt he was to blame, teh ball dipped a serious amount in the last 4 yards it travelled. 3 0 flattered city alright and Toure did dive for sure, he thought Skrtel was going to make contact. Yaya played well but gave no masterclass tbh, take out the johnson nap and the freak goal, never mind a pen thaat wasn't and this had draw all over it. Add to that if Johnson and Downing provided better crosses it wouldn't have been impossible to take all 3 on the night, never mind Downing kicking the ball at Hart's leg in a piss poor attempt to finsh
